Pizza Hut announced its new pasta dishes in 2008 with an email campaign claiming the company was changing its name to “Pasta Hut.” The date was April 1st, and the blast was an April Fool’s publicity stunt that helped make the chain’s new Tuscani pastas one of the company’s most popular new product launches. Each of the three varieties of pasta are covered with cheese and baked until light brown on top. The Creamy Chicken Alfredo Pasta garnered the most cloning requests with everyone pleading to know how to duplicate the delicious alfredo sauce. I eventually burned through several pounds of pasta and many quarts of cream, but finally discovered the perfect Top Secret Recipe so that you can now make this delicious dish in your own kitchen. And it’s easy.

Its missing an herb that is in the pizzahut version!! and the butter amount is WAY to much. I will be experimenting in what the leaf herb is. I'm feeling its basil, but maybe something else....but I WILL find it. I was so excited to BUY this recipe and try it, as we buy it from pizza hut nearly every week, but was kinda disappointed to find it very lacking :( More work needs to be put in to finding that missing herb, and lower the butter content.

My initial worry was that it wouldn't reheat well (being an alfredo and all) but that's never been a concern after we made it - Nothing is left for leftovers! I was amazed at how well the kids loved it. It is a great recipe! And Easy! It is now one of my favorites - which incidentally happens more and more when I try a new Todd Wilbur recipe.
