This clones Starbucks' "Low-fat Creamy Blend of Coffee and Milk" that you find in the 9 1/2-ounce bottles in most stores. Those little suckers will set you back at least a buck, but this Top Secret Recipes version costs a mere fraction of that. The recipe requires espresso, but don't worry if you don't have an espresso machine. Check out the Tidbits below for a way to clone espresso with a standard drip machine and ground coffee.
1/2 cup fresh espresso, chilled 2 1/2 cups low
Combine all of the ingredients in a pitcher or cov

I made this today and used nonfat milk and a little bit of half & half, plus half the sugar (b/c I like mine not too sweet). Perfect! Lower fat and calories and cheap!

This recipe is great. I used a drop of heavy cream instead of the pectin. I can't believe how great it came out! Sure beats $2 each.

I like to make it using Vanilla syrup added for the vanilla flavor. And go very light on the pectin.

Just made my first batch and it was terrible! The aftertaste was so bad. I started with the recomended amount of expresso and could barly taste it. I doubled that and it was still overpowered by what must have been the taste of the pectin. I will try without and see how that does. Texture was great but flavor not so much. I was so dissapointed because I have had good luck with other recipes here.

Are you kidding me!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Now we have enough money we can stop working overtime for Starbucks money. When I tasted this coffee I think I could hear the faint sound of Starbucks stocks falling. Now if we can run our car on hydrogen we are FREE!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thank you sooo much.......

I made this recipe last night. I loved it and my son can't get enough of it. I made a double batch with skim milk, Splenda, and Club House No Cook Freezer Jam pectin (Works great and leaves no after taste). I am a diabetic so this is a great way to indulge my sweet tooth, however, don't drink it at night or you'll be up til morning. LOL
