| The cake was great, but I made a couple of changes to the recipe. I soaked the raisins in warm water before putting them in. I also added chopped pineapple to the cake mix. For the topping I used only two cups of powdered sugar (to balance out the sweet cake) and added one cup of sour cream. I would also recommend adding more carrots and raisins to the mix. |

| Love this cake, made it several times, but have found that if I soak the raisins in warm water for a while, then drain it makes the cake better. |
