Here's a clone for the dollop of sweet, creamy goodness that comes alongside your fish entree at the world's largest seafood chain. This original kitchen replica gives you a quick and tasty sauce that has the look and flavor of the real thing - and it's only five ingredients! Use the sauce to dress up your next home-cooked fish platter or as a spread on fish sandwiches and fish tacos

1/2 cup mayonnaise
1 1/2 tablespoons finely minced onion
1 tablespoon sweet pickle relish
1 1/2 teaspoons shredded and chopped carrot (bits the size of rice)
1 1/2 teaspoons sugar

Combine all ingredients in a small bowl. Cover and chill.

Makes 4 servings.

Exactly right! I can't believe that after buying every kind of tartar sauce made, this simple recipe tops them all. Exactly like RL.

Perfect! I've made this so many times, and it is right on to Red Lobster's tarter sauce it's crazy! Why buy bottled when you can have it Red Lobster's way?

Just made me some fish sticks and had no tartar sauce. Found this recipe and I had the ingredients so made me some tartar sauce. OMG, I licked the bowl clean. It was sooo good.

I lost my copy of this recipe and nearly panicked. It has become a staple in our household when seafood is served. Thank heaven your website still has it available. Thanks so much!

My wife and I worked at Red Lobster for over 15 years combined in our "youth" (it's where we met and now have been married for 29 years) and we both agree that this is RED LOBSTER tartar sauce!

My mom makes this and everyone compliments on the flavor and how good it is. I am not sure if it tastes like Red Lobster because I don't eat fish there, but my husband says it does and he loves it. He does not like store bought tarter sauce and is always asking for this to be made!

This is the asolute BEST tartar sauce! I have made it many times and have even doubled and tripled the recipe when eating with extended family. No other can compare and it keeps really well in fridge, too! Thanks Todd! 6 stars in my book

GREAT RECIPE----the only thing I changed was I only used 1 teaspoon sugar. This is the only tarter sauce my family will eat.
