Menu Description: "Six pot stickers filled with fresh ground turkey meat seasoned with ginger, water chestnuts, red pepper and green onions. They are fried and served in a basket with spicy hoisin."

Now for a clone of a top appetizer choice from this popular theme restaurant chain. Pot stickers are a popular Asian dumpling that can be fried, steamed, or simmered in a broth. Planet Hollywood has customized its version to make them crunchier than the traditional dish, and its a tasty twist that I'm sure you'll love. Since hoisin sauce would be very difficult to make from scratch, you can use a commercial brand found in most stores.

1/4 pound ground turkey
1/2 teaspoon minced fresh ginger

We love these I have also used ground pork, and ground chicken. I generally cook the mixture and steam the potstickers in a bamboo steamer instead of frying.... One of my daughter's favorite foods.

Most stores sell a plastic gadget that presses the edges together for you and looks fabulous. I make these all the time! Try serving with Sweet Thai chili sauce, also found in most groceries.

I've had this recipe since 2001, and have used it quite often, especially for office parties. Everyone loves these, and every time there is a function, I'm asked to bring them. They are delicious! My tips for making these - I also use the round wrappers, and as I multiply the recipe, I don't add as much red pepper flakes. The one time I did, they came out really spicy! I serve with hoisin sauce, and also sweet and sour. Yum!

Excellent recipe! My family loves them. I use ground pork instead of turkey. Serve them with potsticker Gyoza dipping sauce by Dynasty.

THE POTSTICKER CIRCLES ARE FOUND IN MOST MAJOR SUPERMARKETS. I MADE THESE FOR MY FAMILY PARTY ON NEW YEARS EVE. I DOUBLED THE RECIPE AND ADDED SOME GREEN ONIONS TO MEAT MIXTURE. EVERYONE LOVED THEM AND WANTED MORE!!! THANKS SOOO MUCH!!!

You can purchase round Asian wrappers at the supermarket that are specifically made for potstickers -- one less step in the process. (3 for neutral -- I didn't try the recipe just read Michelle's comment and remembered using round "dumpling" wrappers for a different dish.)

Crowd pleaser.. I usually quadruple the recipe as everyone seems to love them so much! The recipe is slightly time consuming as you must stuff the wontons, although I save time by not cutting the wontons into circles. Delicious!!
