This is a clone for the stuff you buy in 1-ounce packets to create, as the package says, "a fun-filled Mexican fiesta in minutes". Ah, so true. In fact, thanks to Lawry's my last Mexican fiesta was filled with so much fun that I had to take a siesta. I owe it all to that fabulous little packet of seasoning. And now I promise you just as much fun with this TSR clone. Shucks, maybe even a tad more. Just mix the ingredients together in a small bowl, then add it to 1 pound of browned ground beef along with some water and let it simmer. Before you know it you'll be up to your nostrils in good old-fashioned, taco-making fun.

I never buy taco seasoning packets again after having this recipe. Not only does it taste great but you know everything going into it and there is nothing artificial and no MSG

Lawry's has always been my favorite seasoning for tacos. It was easy to find when I lived in So Cal, not so easy to find here in the midwest. I love this recipe it makes the best tacos ever!

This recipe is better than the original! It's easy to add to a mini processor and pulse a couple of times to mix. We love it, even my finicky husband likes it.

It is a grand hit at potlucks where I work, and anywhere else. Every time there is an occasion at work, I am the designated main dish person with the taco meat. I also make a hit with it when I make what I call Mexican Shepards Pie. It is awesome!!!

I forgot to buy taco seasoning and found this recipe. Ground the ingredients together with my mortar and pestle. I will never buy the packaged mix again!

I love this recipe! It tastes exactly like the packaged product. I find the packs get stale if left to long in the pantry.

I no longer waste money on the pkg stuff that has too much salt anyway. This stuff tastes much better!!
