This seven-ingredient clone of Lawry's Seasoned Salt can be made in a small bowl, but it's best used when poured into an old spice bottle that you've cleaned out and saved. You've got one of those somewhere, right?

2 tablespoons salt
2 teaspoons sugar
1/2 teaspoon paprika
1/4 teaspoon turmeric
1/4 teaspoon onion powder
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
1/4 teaspoon cornstarch

1. Combine all ingredients in a small bowl and mix well.

2. Pour blend into an empty spice bottle with shaker top to store.

Makes 1/4 cup.

Cece, A lot of people with wheat allergies or sensitivity, have reactions to arrowroot. If any of the people you're feeding have this problem, you might want to use potato starch or white rice flour.

I felt it was missing one key ingredient... substitute the regular salt or half the salt with celery salt!(1 tbsp. salt and 1 tbsp. celery salt). I personally don't use cornstarch, so we substituted with arrowroot powder. Thanks for the recipe!

This is an excellent clone, I make it organically. I use it on my steaks with garlic salt.
