This delicious house vinaigrette is a Houston's favorite, and a home carbon copy is just minutes away. All you'll need are a few basic ingredients, plus tarragon infused white wine vinegar. If you have trouble tracking down the tarragon vinegar, plain white wine vinegar will work just fine. Use a measuring cup with a spout or a squirt bottle to slowly drizzle the oil into the other ingredients while mixing. This technique will create a thick emulsion that won't separate as your dressing chills out in the fridge.

1/4 cup tarragon vinegar (or white wine vinegar)

This dressing is wonderful. I describe it as a "honey mustard vinaigrette."

I also made it with Splenda and it is wonderful. I especially liked the texture with using a mixer and adding the oil in slowly.

Very similar to Houstons in taste and texture. I did not have dijon mustard, but honey mustard worked well also.

Iam not familiar with this resturant but the recipe sounded good so I thought I would try it, it is wonderful very different taste than anything else on the market, I forgot to buy the Italian herb seasoning so I substuited some Salad Supreme seasoning that I had, can't belive it could taste any better with the other I made a double batch with it and am glad that I did.

This is fantastic! I made it twice, the second time substituting Splenda for the sugar, and it's still wonderful. Makes a fantastic wrap dressing with turkey, cheese and greens

Very good as is. I added a splash of lemon juice and enjoyed it also.
