It's not your typical cole slaw. The sweet pickle relish and green onion is a nice touch, and all that parsley really sets this dish apart from any other cole slaw I've tried. If you like cole slaw and you've never had this version at the restaurant, I encourage you to give it a try.

3/4 cup mayonnaise
3 tablespoons white vinegar

I enjoy this recipe, but it is definitley not a precise replica of the Houston's slaw that I have eaten many times...it does come somewhat close, but benefits from adding a little more sweetness (a large table spoon of honey or a smaller amount of fine sugar). Also, it doesn't match the creaminess of Houston's recipe, and I'm unable to figure out a solution for that. Alway eat this soon after mixing the ingredients....this type of slaw wilts quickly and will loose its crunch and texture (which is important in the dish).

This recipe (when made) does not taste like the cole slaw that Houston's serves in their restaurants.
