For 25 years Fuddruckers has been serving up huge, cooked-when-ordered beef patties on freshly baked buns. The rest is up to you, as you decorate your hamburger creation with sliced tomato, onions, lettuce, pickles, peppers, relish and whatever else is offered up at the toppings bar. Because of this garnishing freedom everyones hamburger is different, yet the company claims these are "The Worlds Greatest Hamburgers." So what makes them so good? Fuddruckers proudly boasts that it uses only 100% USDA choice, aged ground beef. But what Fuddruckers wont tell you is exactly what secret ingredients make up the delicious burger seasoning used on each of those patties, and that's what really makes these burgers special. So, after analyzing a sample of the blend used in the shakers back by the griddle, I've come up with this simple clone which you can now mix up at home in a flash, and pour into an empty shaker bottle. Sprinkle it onto 1/3- or 1/2-pound ground beef patties as they grill, then snag yourself some fresh buns in the bakery section of your store. Add your choice of other fresh toppings, and in no time you'll have a great hamburger burger clone that tastes just like those served at the more than 230 Fuddruckers joints.

I make this recipe and substitute the cayenne for a 1/8 more tsp of onion powder and an 1/8 more tsp of garlic powder because I don't care for cayenne. I use the whole recipe on 1 lb of ground chunk. Seems like a lot but don't worry it will work out. Gives burger a good sear every time.

Thought I would try this spice mix on some burgers with a couple other spice blends to compare flavor. "Steakhouse Onion burger" and "Adobo Goya" From best to worst: 1. Fuddruckers 2.onion steakhouse 3.Adobo and its not even close. This blend of spices is on point! Definitely gonna use this as my staple all spice. Just took another bite and I don't even want to eat the other burgers without this on it. Thank you for this recipe. So simple yet so good.
We loved it!

Wow that is awesome!! I seriously can't believe that just produced burgers like that! For the first time I used NOTHING in my ground beef. Straight from the package, into patties. Season with as much of this spice as you want, and put the patties in the fridge for about an hour to re-firm the shape, then make sure they get a good sear and only turn once. This seriously tasted like the burger version of a perfectly done steak! This spice alongside my badass grill, all I can say is THANKS!!! Gri
Use it on everything!

Wanted to find something a bit different for some burgers and this did not disappoint! It is awesome! The addition of brown sugar really makes it special. Do not skip that! I like to add it onto practically everything, even tofu. It's that good!

I keep this seasoning in my cupboard all the time, but when I make it, I mix together 10 times the amounts listed and keep it in an old spice container because I use it on almost everything.

There was nothing AMAZING about the spices but it was still VERY good! I like to mix the spices in A1 Steak Sauce or some other sauce and then put it on the burgers. All in all thank you VERY much for this Top Secret Recipe! :-)

Excellent! I want to suggest that you wash and save used spice bottles that have shaker holes on the top. That way, you can mix the spices together and sprinkle the seasoning on the hamburgers more efficiently. I'm going to give this seasoning a try on steak. Also, this might be good on chicken blended with a little terayki sauce.
