Cinnabon product development guys were looking for a new baked cinnamon product that customers could eat on the go while carrying bags and scurrying about. In June of 2000, they found it. Bakers brushed Danish dough with a flavored cinnamon butter, then rolled the dough in a generous cinnamon/sugar coating. These golden brown little sticks of cinnamony delight are sold in bags of 5 or 10 from the companys famous cinnamon roll outlets, most likely found in a mall or airport near you. Now you can create your own version of the tasty pastries at home, and you wont even have to make the dough from scratch. Just grab yourself a tube of Pillsbury crescents and all you have to do is roll up the dough and coat it. Run around the house in a hurry while eating these to further re-create the experience.

1 tube Pillsbury crescent dinner rolls (8)
1 stick (1/2 cup) margarine, melted

Much better using Phyllo dough. I made some and wolfed them down before my husband got any! Oops!

Dip in melted Butter first, then the cinnamon/sugar. Use Natural sugar,(the large brown, in color, chunks of sugar versus the cream colored one), instead of white sugar! Then you will get much better results.. Your family & friends will love them!

I've already made this recipe twice and they are GOOD! They don't cost me very much to make: since I already have the butter, sugar, cinnamon, and butter handy, all I have to do is buy the Pillsbury dough. But they're best eaten hot.

Not so great. Adding sugar to store bought crescent rolls doesn't work well. These might do for kids but if you've ever had Cinnabon Stix you won't be impressed.

Hate to say this but... tastes like dinner rolls with sugar on them. If you've ever have the cinnasticks you'd be disappointed.
