I like the taste better than the original. Just wish it was a little thicker. |

I found the smell and taste where the only things correct the consistency was to thin and almost dressing like not a think sauce like the packet version ( yes i had a through emulsion started already) also the color seemed a little to dark when everything was brought together. |

As a Chick-fil-A employee, I am excited to see how close the actual taste is compared to the original. Right now, I'm waiting for it to thicken to pudding-like consistency. A quick taste test revealed that the smoke flavoring may be a little too overbearing. Also, the sweetness is not quite that of the original. A little fine tuning should net a closer copy. |

I have never had the opportunity to try the original recipe as I am not in that area, but I did make this sauce and at first, it was sort of ???....then the next morning after sitting it blended and is fansastic...A new favorite, next time I will double, if not triple the recipe...you gotta try it! Thank you Todd, again. |

I have been searching for months and months for a good honey BBQ recipe and you guys have nailed it! I was in the kitchen making it before the ink dried on the paper. I did however make a couple of changes for my personal taste. I increased the Ketchup to about 1/4 cup and increased the liquid smoke to about 1 TBS. Good job guys!!!! |

I tried it & I think it's better than the real kind!!! Plus you don't have to open so many packets. |
