Filled with carrots, onions, garlic, bell peppers, and herbs - this is definitely the most flavorful meatloaf I have cloned so far, and it's one of Cheesecake Factory's signature dishes. While most meatloaf creations are coated with a tomato-based sauce, such as ketchup or barbecue sauce, this one is doused with rich mushroom gravy, and then topped with a pile of caramelized onions (those secret formulas are included here as well). This recipe will yield exactly three ginormous dinner-size portions - that's three thick slices of meatloaf at the restaurant. But you could easily fill the bellies of four or more famished folks with more reasonable serving sizes from the huge meatloaf you unveil.

It tastes just like Cheesecake Factory's meatloaf! It's delicious! I wouldn't change any of the ingredients. Thanks for the recipe!

If I ever make this again, I will cut the thyme, oregano and sage to 1/4 tsp. each and 1 tsp. of salt in the meatloaf. I would cut out the salt and pepper and saute the onions in only 1 tbls of butter. I have had this meatloaf at the Cheesecake Factory and I don't recall it tasting like this recipe.

I am always trying new meatloaf recipes, but this one is the tops. No more looking for me. It is moist, wonderfully flavored and the onions and gravy are perfect.
