| This recipe works very well with Ovaltine powder (in place of the chocolate syrup) dissolved with the sugar. The taste is PHENOMENAL AND VERY CLOSE (can't taste the difference) to Arby's. It's easy to make and I have one frequently. |

| Great recipe! I halfed it and used a little less ice cream (watching the figure, right?) and it still turned out very tasty.
When I drink the shake at Arby's, the back of my throat is irritated for some reason, but with this version that didn't happen! Give this a try! |

| Back in the 70's when I worked at Arby's, this was made with chocolate syrup and instant coffee. The use of instant coffee may help the "thin" problems. |
