Okay, wash out the blender because this ones been begging to be cloned for years now. Arby's famous Jamocha Shake was one of the first frozen coffee drinks to gain popularity, even before Starbucks pummeled us with Frappuccinos. This thick drink is actually more milk shake than coffee drink, but if you like the original, you'll love this easy-to-make clone that serves two.
1 cup cold coffee
1 cup low-fat milk
3 tablespoons granulated sugar
3 cups vanilla ice cream
3 tablespoons chocolate syrup

1. Combine the coffee, milk, and sugar in a blender and mix on medium speed for 15 seconds to dissolve the sugar.

2. Add ice cream, and chocolate syrup then blend on high speed until smooth and creamy. Stop blender and stir mixture with a spoon if necessary to help blend ingredients.

3. Pour drink into two 16-ounce glasses.

Makes 2 large drinks.

This shake is awesome!!!! I was very impressed by how it turned out when I made it, it tasted just like Arby's Jamocha Shake:)

This recipe works very well with Ovaltine powder (in place of the chocolate syrup) dissolved with the sugar. The taste is PHENOMENAL AND VERY CLOSE (can't taste the difference) to Arby's. It's easy to make and I have one frequently.

Delicious flavor, but almost more like chocolate milk with coffee than a shake. Next time I'll leave out the milk and I'm sure it will be great!

Great recipe! I halfed it and used a little less ice cream (watching the figure, right?) and it still turned out very tasty. When I drink the shake at Arby's, the back of my throat is irritated for some reason, but with this version that didn't happen! Give this a try!

Great recipe A+++ and all i did was add a handful of ice cubes in the blender to help it thinken up.

To dress this up, use a mixture of coffee and chocolate ice cream. It doesn't get much better.

Back in the 70's when I worked at Arby's, this was made with chocolate syrup and instant coffee. The use of instant coffee may help the "thin" problems.

I've made this a few times and it's great the only problem is that it's not very thick. I'm not sure if it's the blender i'm using or if it's the ice cream.
