Menu Description: "Classic cheesecake, graham cracker crumbs, strawberry sauce and whipped cream make this one to savor."

Making cheesecake like this means you don't need to crank up your oven and run it for the hour or more that traditional cheesecake recipes require. Since the cheesecake filling is layered into a small glass, you make it ahead of time on your stovetop, which substantially shortens cooking and cooling times. When the filling is chilled, it's spooned into 6-ounce glasses on top of graham cracker crumbs, then thawed sliced strawberries in syrup are spooned on top. After finishing off each dessert shooter with a pile of whipped cream, you get to pass out some spoons, sit back, and enjoy a roomful of "mmmm."

My oldest son got married out of state 3 days ago. It was my job to do desserts for rehearsal dinner and the grooms cake. I made this for 58 people! When it was announced that the grooms' mother made the cheesecake I had people coming up insisting I give them the recipe..."it's unlike any other cheesecake I've ever tasted..." Yes, and SOOO much quicker!!! Even the restaurant wanted the recipe! Of course I gave you credit, but it made me kind of famous!!!

Thanks Todd for that wonderful recipe. I made it for company that said they did not like desserts. They cleaned up their dishes and wanted more. This is a keeper. It's like strawberry shortcake but creamier!

Fabulous! I made it and it came out great; then I made it using cherry pie filling instead of the strawberries and it was even better. Now I don't have to go to Crapplebee's for my fave dessert. Thanks, Todd!
