Menu Description: "Flame-grilled Atlantic Salmon with Applebee's Honey Pepper Sauce served with a side of almond rice pilaf, seasoned vegetables and toasted garlic bread."

It's all about the sauce. This sweet, tangy and slightly spicy sauce goes perfectly with salmon, but can also be used on chicken or ribs. Just be sure to watch the sauce closely as it cooks in case it starts to bubble over. If it sounds like I'm speaking from experience, you're right - oh, what a beautiful mess I made on one attempt. So, cook the sauce slowly, and watch it closely as it thickens. If it gets too thick, you can always add a bit of water to thin it out. I suggest serving this salmon with almond rice pilaf as they do in the restaurant. You can find a good clone recipehere on the site.

This is, hands down, my favorite way to prepare salmon. My salmon hating husband loves this! But heed the warning about it boiling over--I am just now cleaning up the gooey, icky mess from not watching it closer.

I have made this quite a few times and always a big hit, even with my salmon shy freinds:)

Loved this recipe! I use it more on chicken but it's a favorite in my house.

I live in Alaska and get fresh salmon all the time, always looking for a new way to prepare it. This one of my favorites, also good on halibut.

WOW! I think this is way better then the restaurants version! It is simple to make and a fabulous and impressive dish to serve dinner guests. I have even made it in the winter by broiling the salmon in my oven. I have prepared the fish in this way more often then grilling it and it still turns out fabulous every time!

I made this recently as I had some salmon and wanted to jazz it up some. I found it to be very delicious and my salmon turned out very moist. I will be making this again the next time I buy salmon as I ate it all!
